Conflict in the poultry industry: AiKu-Pak sues Okskaya poultry farm over patent for egg packaging

The packaging patent filed by IQ-Pak registered an egg tray, which may raise questions about the advisability of patenting this type of packaging. The COURT granted the plaintiff's claim for payment, but did not prohibit the use of the packaging, which created a precedent for possible subsequent claims by IQ-Pak against other manufacturers.

Representatives of the Okskaya Poultry Farm have already confirmed the existence of a conflict and reported a possible refusal to use trays for 10 eggs, which could entail additional costs for new packaging solutions and change the logistics of products.

The situation raises many questions for government agencies such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture about the need to revise patent legislation to protect the interests of producers and prevent abuses. The public expresses concerns about the possible impact of such practices on the market and on prices for consumers.
