The Tomsk company "Sibagro" acquired several crop production assets in the Nazarovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The company included agricultural land with an area of 82,000 hectares and a granary with a capacity of 240,000 tons, the company said.

The structure of the Tomsk holding included: JSC Agroholding Sibiryak, LLC Elevator and LLC Siberian Zhitnitsa. According to Andrey Tyutyushev, Chairman of the Board of Sibagro, new production facilities are being opened at the holding, which increases the need for animal feed.

“Secondly, we are planning to start building a plant for deep processing of grain in the Krasnoyarsk Territory soon. This production will also need high-quality raw materials, ”Tyutyusheva said.

it is noted that the area of arable land in the acquired farms is 69,000 hectares. The plans are to introduce all lands into agricultural circulation, sowing them with spring wheat and barley, rapeseed and soybeans. At the same time, the yield indicator is planned to be increased to 50 centners per hectare and above (for wheat and barley).

In the coming season, the company will begin to put the new land fund in order.

We add that in early March, Kommersant reported that the Sibagro company had filed a petition with the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the acquisition of JSC ABH Promagro (Belgorod Region). The structure of Promagro includes three pig-breeding complexes, a MEAT processing plant and the production of animal feed. According to the National Union of Pig Breeders, as a result of the deal, Sibagro can increase pork production to almost 300,000 tons and enter the top 5 pork producers in RUSSIA.
