Since Saturday, August 26, restrictive measures have been in effect in the Krasnoyarsk district of the Samara region, where an epizootic outbreak arose in the village of Lopatino: the day before, a local resident called the animal disease control station with the news of the death of two piglets in a private farmstead with an interval of 10 days.

On the same day, the genome of the ASF virus was found in samples of biological material . Soon the diagnosis was confirmed by the laboratory of the Federal Center for Animal HEALTH (ARRIAH) in Vladimir. During the detour, experts found the death of pigs in several more private farms.
