In the autumn of 2022, ASF outbreaks were registered on two local farms of Miratorg-Kursk LLC. The artificial insemination station and sites for the reproduction and fattening of pigs of the pig-breeding complex No. 16 in the village of Aleshinka, and the pig-breeding complex No. 9 in the village of Maloye Bobrovo in the Dmitrovsky district were recognized as epizootic foci. In the threatened zone with a radius of 20 kilometers around were the settlements of Soskovsky, Shablykinsky, Kromsky and Trosnyansky districts.
In November, an infected object was found in the hunting area of Volodino LLC. Infected wild boar carcasses were found in a corn field near the village of Berezovka. In February of this year, quarantine for ASF was established on the territory of the hunting ground of Sapsan LLC. Both farms are located in the Dmitrovsky district.
Quarantine restrictions were in effect for 180 days. All veterinary and sanitary measures have been completed. The epizootic situation was recognized as favorable.
