Results of diversification of Russian livestock exports in 2024

At the moment, there are opportunities for export to various countries:

• fish products – 82 countries;
• feed – 82 countries;
• dairy products – 90 countries;
• pork – 36 countries;
• poultry meat – 59 countries;
• beef – 41 countries;
• live animals – 46 countries;
• finished meat products – 39 countries.

New markets opening in 2024 include Syria, India, UAE, Vietnam , Bangladesh, Azerbaijan , Kuwait, Thailand, Egypt , Mexico, Hong Kong, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Djibouti and Macau. Of particular importance for Russian manufacturers is the entry into the Chinese market , which occurred in 2024.

The volume of exports in some categories increased by more than 30%. In particular, supplies of poultry meat and by-products increased by 24%, to 381.9 thousand tons, and beef exports by 30%, amounting to 46.1 thousand tons. There was also an increase in dairy exports by 18%, reaching 195.6 thousand tons. However, supplies of fish products decreased by 24% to 1.66 million tons.

Daushev emphasized that the opening of new markets and the activation of exporters ensured the growth of supplies, despite the dynamic situation on the market. With more than 5 thousand enterprises registered in the Cerberus system, Rosselkhoznadzor continues to actively monitor their activities.
