Inflation in Russia accelerated from 23 to 29 November

Inflation in RUSSIA for the period from November 23 to November 29, 2021 amounted to 0.46%, follows from Rosstat data.

A week earlier, inflation in Russia was at the level of 0.2%.

In annual terms, inflation as of November 29, 2021 (according to calculations using average daily data for this and last year for similar dates) was 8.38%. Since the beginning of the year, consumer prices have risen by 7.51%.

During the reporting period, according to Rosstat, in the category of food products, prices for wheat FLOUR increased most significantly - by 1.1%, bread - by 0.6%, sausages, sausages, canned fruits and berries for baby food - by 0.5 %.

World food prices hit a new all-time high 

Prices for boiled sausages, canned MEAT for baby food, frozen fish, sour cream, full-fat cottage cheese, and black tea rose by 0.3%. Beef, semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, sterilized MILK and rennet cheeses went up by 0.2%, canned vegetables for baby food - by 0.1%.
