Since the beginning of February, consumer prices in the Russian Federation have increased by 0.22%, and since the beginning of the year – by 1.77%.
In annual terms, inflation in the Russian Federation as of March 25, 2024 (according to calculations using average daily data for this and last year on similar dates) amounted to 7.77%.
According to statistics, during the reporting period, the most expensive items were lamb (+1.7%), granulated SUGAR (+0.7%), beef (+0.6%), canned fruit and berry preserves for baby food and table SALT (+0.5%), semi-smoked and cooked-smoked sausages , butter , margarine,sour cream ,cottage cheese , hard, semi-hard and soft cheeses , vermicelli (+0.4%), dry MILK formulas for baby food and vodka (+0.3%), frozenfish , milk , rye bread, lunches in the canteen, cafe, snack bar, except for the canteen in the organization (+0.2%), chicken MEAT , cooked sausages, canned vegetables for baby food, sunflower oil, wheat FLOUR , pasta and rice (+0.1%).
Prices for fruit and vegetable products decreased by 0.9%, including cucumbers (-5.4%), onions (-0.3%), tomatoes (-0.2%), potatoes , and bananas (-0.1%). Prices increased for beets (+2.7%), carrots (+1%), and apples (+0.9%).
Prices fell for chicken eggs (-0.6%), buckwheat (-0.5%), black tea (-0.4%), millet (-0.3%), canned meat for baby food (-0.2%) and pork (-0.1%).
