The epizootic situation in Russia is stable, reports Dmitry Patrushev

Patrushev stressed that ensuring a high level of biological security of animal and bird facilities is a key aspect for welfare in animal husbandry. Existing measures, such as mandatory labeling and recording of farm animals, which became mandatory in 2024 , should improve the situation. This data will be entered into the VetIS information system, which will help in the registration, recording and timely vaccination of farm animals, which is important for maintaining epizootic safety in the country.
