A business mission has started for exporters of agricultural products from RUSSIA to Indonesia. The organizer of the business mission, FSBI Agroexport, indicates in the message that the EXPORT of agricultural products from Russia to this country is growing in volume, and rapidly. If at the end of 2022, exports in this direction increased by 56.2%, then in just over six months of 2023, exports have more than tripled, and they may grow further by the end of the year.

Thus, Indonesia is one of the largest importers of wheat, and Russia is its largest exporter. Indonesian FLOUR mills are interested in connections with Russian suppliers, says a representative of Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia, one of the largest enterprises in the country. Another promising industry in terms of growth is the export of vegetable oils, in particular rapeseed and sunflower. Indonesia imports large volumes of rapeseed oil, and there is also growing interest in sunflower oil in the country, despite the fact that there is no domestic production of this product.

Indonesia is also interested in importing soybeans and its processed products, wheat flour and some other agricultural products. For example, Indonesia imports large volumes of MEAT and dairy products, but most products must be halal certified. In turn, Russian entrepreneurs import Indonesian palm oil and are interested in expanding the import of Indonesian tropical fruits.
