According to the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (SAGyP) of the Ministry of Economy, Argentina's exports , marked with the "Argentine Agro (AA) - Natural Choice" label, increased year-on-year by 52.63% in value and 36.82% in volume between January and June 2025, reaching US $573.25 million and 301.76 thousand tons.

The data is taken from the latest report of the National Food Directorate of the Undersecretariat of Regional Economy and Small and Medium Producers, which also noted a positive trend compared to 2023: an increase in the FOB value of 19.24% and an increase in total EXPORT volume of 17.46%.

These results confirm the international recognition of Argentine food products, certified for quality, traceability and origin.

The growth recorded in the first half of the year is largely due to the inclusion of new companies and products in this official certification instrument.

The value and volume of officially certified exports increased.

Currently, over 4,500 products bear the AA label, awarded based on compliance with 54 official quality protocols that guarantee high food quality and stimulate regional economic development. Companies receiving the certificate undergo periodic audits by private certification agencies to ensure compliance with established standards.

Among the main products exported by Seal in the first six months of the year were peanuts and peanut paste, which accounted for US$161.12 million, equivalent to 28.11% of the total; chilled and vacuum-packed beef, valued at US$140.79 million (24.56%); and pre-fried and frozen potato products, valued at US$131.71 million (22.98%).

Other significant products included fresh pears (31.32 million, up 5.46%), concentrated grape must (26.85 million, up 4.68%), and squid (26.73 million, up 4.66%). Among these, fresh pears demonstrated the largest year-on-year growth, increasing by 439.72% from $5.80 million to $31.32 million.

The export boom also reflected the diversification of international markets. Six top destinations accounted for almost 59% of export value: Brazil (20.37%), the Netherlands (11.49%), Germany (8.47%), Chile (7.46%), the United States (6.76%), and the United Kingdom (4.41%).

Thus, the AA quality mark strengthens its position as a quality mark confirming the conformity of products, production processes, and national origin. Its growth not only enhances the international image of Argentine food products but also contributes to the development of the regional economy and the country's strategic positioning in the most demanding markets.
