Exports of agro-industrial products from Russia have increased by 21% since the beginning of 2021 and reached $34.179 billion as of December 19, exceeding the figure for the whole of 2020, the Agroexport federal center under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation said in a statement.
As previously reported, in 2020, the export of agricultural products amounted to $30.5 billion compared to $25.6 billion in 2019.
According to Agroexport, grain exports for the reporting period increased by 10%, to $10.437 billion, oil and fat products - by 49%, to $6.723 billion, supplies of meat and dairy products increased by 30%, to $1.441 billion. Export of fish and seafood increased by 28%, to $6.560 billion, food and processing industry products - by 13%, to $4.589 billion. Exports of other agricultural products increased by 11%, to $4.430 billion.
In the structure of exports, 13.1% of deliveries fell on the EU, 12.1% - on Turkey, China - 9.8%, South Korea - 6.7%, Kazakhstan - 6.2%, Egypt - 5.2% , Belarus - 4.1%, Ukraine - 2.5%, Uzbekistan - 2.3%, Azerbaijan - 2%.
