Export of agricultural products from the Russian Federation from the beginning of the year to October 10 increased by 19.9%

Exports of MEAT and dairy products increased by 29% to $1.121 billion, the press service of FSBI Agroexport reported.

In general, the EXPORT of agricultural products from the Russian Federation from the beginning of the year to October 10 increased by 19.9% ​​to $25.293 billion. In addition, grain exports increased by 15.1%, to $7.741 billion; fish and seafood - by 15.4%, to $4.518 billion; supplies of oil and fat products increased by 47.3% to $5.182 billion; exports of food and processing industry products increased by 9.1%, to $3.4 billion.

The study by Agroexport notes that the European Union is the main buyer of Russian agricultural products with a share of 12.1%. it increased imports by 33.7% to $3.068 billion.

Turkey, which was the leader before, is now in second place. The country increased purchases by 33.3%, to $2.997 billion, and its share in the total supply of agricultural products from RUSSIA amounted to 11.8%.

In third place is CHINA . Exports to this country decreased by 8.6% after the ban on fish imports due to the CORONAVIRUS and currently stands at $ 2.651 billion. The share in the total volume is 10.5%.

The top 10 importers of Russian agricultural products also include SOUTH KOREA, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

The number of vacancies in the food industry has increased in Russia 

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural exports from Russia this year will amount to about $35 billion. According to Agroexport, the supply of agricultural products abroad in 2020 amounted to $30.556 billion.
