
The increase in exports was made possible by the opening of new markets in CHINA, Southeast Asia, and Serbia, which offset the decline in exports to the European Union. In addition to MEAT, the Belgorod Region also shipped 31,100 tons of plant-based feed to countries such as Morocco and Uzbekistan , and 8,900 tons of dairy products to various destinations.
Domestic sales are also growing rapidly—the region shipped 253,900 tons of feed to nine Russian regions. To support production, feed additives and plant-based feed were imported from several countries, including China and Belarus . These achievements were made possible by ramping up production in 2024 , making the region one of Russia's leading agricultural exporters.
