Effective fight against illegal circulation of veterinary drugs in Russia: successes of the " Honest sign " system

One of the main achievements of the "Honest Sign" system was the ability to integrate with Rosselkhoznadzor registration certificates and production licenses. This allowed for automatic verification of the validity of permits, which significantly simplified control over the circulation of veterinary drugs. Now, when drugs are introduced into circulation, they are checked for the presence of a valid license, which makes the process more transparent and safe.

Egor Zhavoronkov, head of the department for work with socially significant goods at the CRPT , emphasizes that thanks to these measures, it was possible not only to identify and seize prohibited drugs, but also to increase the number of legal importers from 39 to 93.

Currently, 35% of veterinary drugs in circulation in Russia are already labeled . The remaining drugs were produced before the introduction of the labeling system , and work on their registration and legalization continues. It is important to note that labeling not only helps to identify prohibited drugs, but also provides more honest conditions for bona fide companies.

The " Honest Sign" system continues to develop, and in the future it is planned to prohibit the introduction of products dangerous to animals and the sale of unmarked drugs. This should increase the level of safety for both animals and people working with them, and become an important step in the fight against illegal circulation of veterinary drugs in the country.
