The Governor of the Penza Region assessed the progress of construction of two poultry farms "Damate"

Today, construction and installation works are carried out simultaneously at all three poultry sites, a large volume of work has already been done. At the first site, the foundation has been laid, the on-site water supply system has been installed, metal structures and roofing sandwich panels have been installed. The final stage of implementation includes pouring the concrete floor, installing the power supply, installing on-site roads, and the installation of a transformer substation and a diesel power plant will be completed in the near future. Specialists plan to complete the installation of the gas pipeline, wall sandwich panels, equip the administrative and utility building, and perform general improvement of the territory. Work is planned and is being carried out on infrastructure facilities - at the water intake unit, weighing station. "Damate" is also carrying out work on the other two poultry sites in accordance with the schedule.

The launch of the facilities will increase turkey production by 22.6 thousand tons in slaughter weight per year. The investment amount will be 6.9 billion rubles, the financial partner is JSC Rosselkhozbank. As a result of the launch of new facilities in the village of Bolshaya Yelan, 112 jobs will be created.

Each of the poultry farming units consists of three sites, which contain 32 poultry houses for growing and fattening turkeys, a total of 64 poultry houses. The total number of seats is about 900 thousand heads. The launch of the facilities is scheduled for August 2025.

"The Damate company has consistently held first place in RUSSIA in terms of turkey MEAT production for six years. We sell our products throughout the country and are developing the EXPORT direction. The new poultry farms that we are currently building will further strengthen and enhance the company's position as the Russian leader in turkey production," said Andrey Sedov, CEO of the Damate Group.

"Damate" plans to expand production capacity in  the Penza Region to 264 thousand tons of turkey per year by building five more new poultry units. The corresponding agreement was signed between the Government of the Penza Region and the Damate Group of Companies at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, - noted Oleg Melnichenko. - Thanks to the construction of new poultry buildings, additional jobs will be provided for another 250 people. We are always ready to support projects aimed at developing production capacities and creating new jobs."

Let us recall that the agreement on further expansion of capacities was signed between Damate and the Government of the Penza Region during the SPIEF-2024. In addition to the poultry houses already under construction in the village of Bolshaya Elan, Damate plans to build five more new poultry units in the Penza Region and additionally invest more than 16.5 billion rubles in the project.
