The information and educational project “Sanprosvet” of Rospotrebnadzor began working in 2023. Its goal is to popularize the basics of sanitary and hygienic literacy of all age groups of the population. The Cherkizovo Group became one of the project partners, engaging in educational work among more than 40 thousand of its employees in 18 regions of RUSSIA.
As part of the project, the company conducted a sanitary literacy test for employees from September 12 to 30. Anyone could take part in it: to do this, they had to click on the link and answer 20 questions that related to the rules of personal hygiene, sanitary standards and the prevention of dangerous viral infectious diseases. For each question, several answer options were offered - you had to choose the only correct one.
The test results showed that 85% of Cherkizovo employees who took part gave correct answers to 15-20 questions. Test participants were asked, for example, about the timing of the flu vaccination campaign and whether using hand sanitizer could be an alternative to washing hands with soap.
As a food manufacturer and a responsible employer, Cherkizovo Group strives to ensure that all its employees have comprehensive knowledge of sanitary and epidemiological safety. Therefore, since the summer of this year, the company’s enterprises have been informing workers about the basic rules in this area by broadcasting multimedia materials developed by leading scientific experts from Rospotrebnadzor on screens.
