“For several years in a row, the Regional Ministry of Agriculture has been working to create slaughterhouses in each municipality of Transbaikalia, which allows solving the problem of industrial slaughter in the territories. This year, it is planned to allocate 40 million rubles from the regional budget to agricultural producers for the opening and modernization of new sites, while last year 17.4 million rubles were allocated for these purposes in the form of grants and subsidies,” the deputy minister explained.
She noted that five sites in Nerchinsko-Zavodsky, Olovyanninsky, Uletovsky, Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky and Chitinsky districts were created with state support in 2021. The existing slaughterhouses in the Mogoytuysky and Borzinsky districts have also been modernized.
