The State Duma will consider amendments to the pensions of agricultural workers

A group of parliamentarians submitted a draft law to the State Duma providing for the maintenance of a supplement to the insurance pension for agricultural workers who moved to urban areas.

The draft law "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Insurance Pensions" has been published in the database of the State Duma. Today, for people who have worked for at least 30 years in agriculture, it is planned to increase the fixed payment to the insurance pension by 25%. However, this allowance is set only for the period of residence in rural areas and is lost when moving.

According to the bill, there will be no such binding. “The fact of moving to a new place of residence should not belittle the huge length of service in rural areas with difficult working conditions characteristic of such areas,” the explanatory note says.

Recall that the increase in payment applies only to a certain list of works, industries, professions, positions, specialties. This list is set by the government.
