The law provides for the inclusion of organizations and individual entrepreneurs who are producers of non-agricultural products (raw materials), feed and food additives, enzyme preparations, as well as medicines for veterinary use, among recipients of state support measures. Such support includes, in particular, ensuring the availability of credit resources.
Currently, state support through the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is provided to agricultural producers for the production of agricultural products and their further processing, as well as to organizations carrying out primary and (or) subsequent (industrial) processing of agricultural products. Whereas in the production of some amino acids (methionine), vitamins (group A, E, choline chloride) and veterinary drugs, agricultural raw materials are not used.
The adoption of the law will entail positive socio-economic consequences and will increase the financial and economic stability of organizations in the agro-industrial complex, the authors of the document believe.
The law will come into force on September 1, 2024 .
