In the Mörkisch-Oderland region, African swine fever has been confirmed on another farm.

The national reference laboratory, the Friedrich Löffler Institute, has confirmed African swine fever (ASF) on another farm in the Mörkisch-Oderland region.

This is a small farm with 4 fattening pigs (2 animals died, 2 were destroyed and disposed of), located near the farm where ASF was confirmed on Thursday.

On Thursday, the virus was detected on a farm with 200 pigs in the Spree Neisse area, another case with 2 animals was found in the Mörkisch-Oderland area
