FGBI "ARRIAH" invites agricultural producers to mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation to ensure the veterinary well-being of the poultry industry.
Today, industrial poultry farming is one of the important sectors of the agro-industrial sector that ensures the country's food security. The production of commercial eggs fully covers the needs of Russians, and the volume of MEAT production is 46.9% of the total output of the meat industry in the country.
Despite the high pace of development of the industry, infectious diseases of birds are the main deterrent to profitable poultry farming. The situation of the industry's dependence on imported vaccines has been developing for years. An unfriendly policy towards RUSSIA and harsh sanctions pressure may lead to problems regarding the supply of imported drugs for veterinary use. In order to maintain food security and reduce dependence on imports, the Russian Federation continues the process of import substitution in many areas of production, including the agro-industrial sector. Unfortunately, the current situation in providing poultry farming with immunobiological agents shows that the share of foreign preparations significantly prevails over domestic ones.
As part of the work on import substitution, the FSBI “Federal Center for Animal Health” subordinate to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR is ready to provide domestic agricultural producers with the necessary scope of services and products for the diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases of birds. The organization has a high human resources potential. Today, the FGBI “ARRIAH” employs about 900 highly qualified employees, among whom 15 specialists have a doctorate degree and 128 have a Ph.D. degree. The share of performers of research works holding positions of scientific employees is more than 50%. The high qualification of the employees allowed the FGBI "ARRIAH" to become the leading institution for the development and production of veterinary drugs for the specific prevention and diagnosis of infectious animal diseases,
FGBI ARRIAH offers a wide range of vaccines against avian diseases that can ensure the veterinary well-being of the industry. These are live and inactivated preparations. Inactivated vaccines are produced both in mono-variant and in an associated form for the prevention of several infections in a single dose. Today FGBI "ARRIAH" produces vaccines against Marek's disease (3 serotypes), Newcastle disease (La-Sota), Gamboro disease (Winterfield, BG, Gamboromix), chicken infectious bronchitis (H-120, 4/91, QX), egg production (SSY-76), infectious avian encephalomyelitis (Kalnek-M); metapneumovirus infection, reoviral tenosynovitis, infectious laryngotracheitis, smallpox, respiratory mycoplasmosis, viral hepatitis of ducklings, low pathogenic avian influenza, some bacterial infections.
The main advantages of vaccines produced by the FGBI "ARRIAH" for domestic agricultural producers are:
- optimal price with high quality of the drug, which will reduce the cost of the vaccination scheme and increase the profitability of production;
- vaccines are made from actual strains with maximum homology, which ensures high efficiency of their use;
- when used correctly, vaccine preparations provide stable and intense immunity;
- vaccines are tested for protective activity against circulating epizootic pathogens of infectious diseases;
- when using vaccines produced by FGBI “ARRIAH”, the farms get the opportunity of free scientific and practical consulting of the leading specialists of the Institution in the field of infectious pathology of birds;
- veterinarians of poultry farms have the opportunity to assess the intensity and homogeneity of immunity in the Laboratory and Diagnostic Center of the FGBI "ARRIAH" and, if necessary, to identify the circulation of a particular pathogen.
Currently, FGBI ARRIAH produces diagnostic kits and vaccines against diseases of cattle, pigs, birds, wild carnivores: in total, more than 100 types of products, including about 78 types of vaccines, 21 items of diagnostic kits and 7 items of chemotherapeutic drugs that are protected by 97 patents of the Russian Federation.
Only thanks to the joint and well-coordinated work of domestic agricultural producers and the leading Institution in the field of infectious pathology and biotechnology - FGBI "ARRIAH", it is possible to introduce domestic immunoprotection agents into the vaccination scheme of farms in a short time and ensure the veterinary well-being of the industry, thereby reducing the dependence of poultry farming on imported drugs and unpredictable consequences of the sanctions policy.
We invite agricultural producers to mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation.
