Leptospirosis (lat. Leptospirosis) is a natural focal infectious disease of humans and animals, of bacterial etiology, related to ubiquitous infections.
In Russia, the epizootic situation regarding leptospirosis remains tense. The difficulty of vaccinating horses against this disease lies in the high risk of edema in the form of swelling at the site of injection of the drug, which makes it difficult to feed and water animals and even their movement, allergic complications, which together lead to a decrease in the performance of farm horses and the disqualification of sports individuals participating in competitive events.
Currently, the institution’s specialists are forming a registration dossier to enable full-scale production and sale of the developed drug.
