An audit conducted by the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Trade revealed misuse of funds. Letunovskaya has already repaid half of the allocated 3 million rubles, but questions regarding the reporting and performance continue to arise. The court found that the calf purchase documents contained inaccurate information, and a building used for other purposes was discovered in place of the planned barn.
The investigation also points to possible fraud related to inaction on the project and fictitious transactions. The court upheld the return of the remaining amount to the ministry. The ruling has not yet entered into legal force.
