At the same time, the Ministry of Agriculture reports that the poultry and egg situation in the country remains stable, and supply fully meets demand. Chicken producers have also reduced prices , which is improving the affordability of this type of meat for consumers. According to data, from the end of December last year to May this year, prices for whole chicken meat

fell by 4.8%, reaching 157.57 rubles per kilogram excluding VAT. Prices for chicken eggs also decreased – by 12.7% for Category I eggs and by 11.3% for Category II eggs. This trend continues today, leading to further price declines for this product. Over the past week, chicken egg prices have fallen by 3% and 3.9% for Category I and Category II eggs, respectively.
