The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) approved the petition of Ostankino MEAT Processing Plant JSC to acquire 100% of the authorized capital of Ostankino - New Standard LLC, TASS reports.
The Ostankino Meat Processing Plant (OMPK) is one of the most famous food enterprises in Moscow, operating since 1954. A company that produces frozen semi-finished products and sausages under the trademarks Ostankino, Papa Mogut, Creamy and Sausage. Ru”, since 1998, has been part of the vertically integrated meat processing company Ostankino.
OMPK sells its products through Ostankino - New Standard LLC, a separate division with a branch in Podolsk, registered in Moscow in November 2008. The main activity of this enterprise is the wholesale trade of meat and meat products.
Having agreed on the request of the OMPC, the FAS noted that the conclusion of the deal would not lead to a restriction of competition in the meat products market.
