The Federal Antimonopoly Service approved the transaction of Cherkizovo Group PJSC to acquire the assets of Belaya Ptitsa-Kursk LLC in the Gorshechensky district of the Kursk region.

The application for the acquisition of a share in the authorized capital of a broiler poultry farm was received from a subsidiary of the Cherkizovo holding, OOO Perspektiva.

The production and technological complex of the Belaya Ptitsa-Kursk company, designed for breeding broilers, includes an incubator, seven growing sites and a MEAT processing and canning plant. Before the bankruptcy of the enterprise, he produced about 120 thousand tons of chicken meat per year. If the transaction is successfully completed, PJSC Cherkizovo Group will become the 100% owner of the processing plant.

Belaya Ptitsa-Kursk LLC was declared bankrupt under a simplified procedure (as a liquidated debtor) in April 2019. Prior to that, at the end of 2018, the Cherkizovo Group bought the rights to claim the poultry farm's debts under loan and security agreements from the Russian Agricultural Bank.
