For the agro-industrial complex of Bashkiria, 2020 was the best year in the last 20 years - Ilshat Fazrakhmanov

For the agro-industrial complex of the republic, 2020 was the best year in the last 20 years, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted at a meeting of the committee on agrarian issues, ecology and nature management of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan, which took place on June 8.

He summed up the results of the implementation of the state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets in the Republic of Bashkortostan" in 2020.

Within the framework of the State Program, 88 target indicators were assigned to the agricultural department.

“For the most part, all indicators were met, with the exception of those that could not be achieved due to objective factors,” said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. - Gross agricultural production amounted to almost 190 billion rubles last year, and what is important, the commodity part produced by agricultural organizations increased to 57%. Accordingly, the share of personal farmsteads decreased to 43%. That is, we are confidently approaching our goal - to increase the share of marketable products produced in agricultural enterprises and farms to a level above 60 percent.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the agrarians of the republic managed to harvest a good crop of grain crops in a short time - 4 million tons of grain, which is more than 600 thousand tons more than in 2019.

An important role in the development of the agricultural complex of the republic was played by the active renewal of the machine and tractor fleet. In 2020, the agrarians of the republic purchased 3,607 units of equipment in the amount of 10.1 billion rubles.

The livestock production index amounted to 101.6%, which is slightly less than the planned figure of 102.1%, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov emphasized. He explained the continued growth in MEAT and MILK production by a number of investment projects that are being actively implemented in the region.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the current year is very difficult for the farmers of the region. Agricultural producers are likely to lose a significant part of the crop due to drought, and there is already a shortage of green mass when preparing fodder for the wintering of livestock. Naturally, all this can negatively affect the economy of enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the republic.
