Denis Kazannikov: Export support for the agro-industrial complex in 2021 will increase by 1.5 times and amount to 6 billion rubles

State support for domestic agricultural enterprises that supply their products abroad was discussed at the meeting of the commission of the RSPP on the topic "Export of Russian Agro-Industrial Complex Products: Current State and Prospects for Further Growth."

Denis Kazannikov, HEAD of the project to support the EXPORT of agricultural products of the Russian Export Center JSC, said that the financing of the program, which partially reimburses Russian suppliers of agricultural products abroad, increased 1.5 times this year from 4 to 6 billion rubles. The number of exporters is also growing every year, which at the moment is already more than one thousand.

The speaker spoke about the innovations being introduced, which are aimed at supporting Russian exports.

- In November last year, we launched a single portal - a single window through which documents are submitted for co-financing participation in exhibitions, transport subsidies, - said the head. - I would like to draw your attention to the fact that through one window you can now search for potential buyers abroad, send a presentation, establish communication with the subsequent conclusion of a contract.

According to the expert, the procedure for obtaining transport subsidies by exporters has been “debugged”. From 2021, they will be compensated for 25% of the cost of delivering cargo from the point of shipment in RUSSIA to the client. According to statistics, more than 300 exporters have already taken advantage of the transport subsidy.

- Last year, a subsidy for lending for the protection of trademarks in Asian markets, primarily in CHINA , was renewed, - the speaker emphasized. - If last year the state provided 60 million rubles for these purposes, then this year - 100 million rubles. Also last year, subsidies for certification were launched, which is very important in the Gulf countries, where certification of products of the Halal category is required, the budget for this type of subsidy has grown from 100 million rubles in 2020 to 450 million rubles in 2021.

According to the head, since this year, Resolution 2316 has been in force, according to which the exporter will receive a refund of no more than 2 million rubles for participating in any international exhibition. The number of such events is also fixed - no more than three.

Agricultural exports set a record in 2020, reaching $30.7 billion

“In addition, there are certain innovations in terms of promotion,” the expert concluded. - For a long time we have three permanent pavilions of the agro-industrial complex in Vietnam, Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, this year we are launching one completely free pavilion for the presentation of products of Russian exporters.
