Damate will build three breeding farms in the Stavropol Territory to improve sheep genetics

This year, the company plans to launch a sheep fattening site in Karachay-Cherkessia, as well as start building three breeding farms in the Stavropol Territory, where purebred animals will be kept to further develop the genetic potential of all farmers in the South of RUSSIA.

This was announced by the chairman of the board of directors of " Damate " Naum Babaev at the XXI Russian exhibition of breeding sheep and goats, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the National Union of Sheep Breeders.

"Damate" presented at the exhibition the breeding breeds of sheep grown within the framework of the project for the production of lamb in the North Caucasus Federal District. A key element of this project is a service company that builds work with farmers on a contract farming model. it enters into contracts with farms, according to which they act as the raw material base of the Damate project and receive a number of services in the field of feeding, veterinary medicine and selection in accordance with modern technologies and standards of the agricultural industry.

This format will create a class of efficient sheep farms.
