In
the Penza region, Molokom JSC, which was part of Damate’s assets, will pay corporate property
tax at a reduced rate for five years . The corresponding
bill was supported by deputies of the regional legislative assembly.
The dairy plant will receive benefits as part of the investment agreement - the company intends to expand the range of products, increase volume and enter new markets. The company is ready to spend about 2 billion rubles for these purposes.
The Legislative Assembly estimates the total amount of benefits at 3.9 million rubles. At the same time, “during the grace period, additional tax revenues to the regional budget are estimated at 76.3 million rubles,” the parliament emphasizes.
JSC Molokom, owned by businessman Rashid Khayrov, was previously one of the assets of the Damate group of companies, but last January the owners decided to split the business.
