Increasing turkey production in  the Penza region

"Damate" and  the government of the Penza region signed a roadmap aimed at developing poultry farming in the region. it is planned to build five poultry farming units for growing and fattening turkeys. The capacity of turkey production will increase to 300 thousand tons in slaughter weight per year. The construction will be organized in several stages over five years.

Cooperation with Tyumen region

Damate signed two agreements with the government of the Tyumen region. The first agreement concerns increasing the production of hatching eggs to 25 million per year. A turkey breeding farm with a capacity of 12 million eggs per year is already operating in the Tyumen region. The second agreement provides for the creation of an investment project for the cultivation, slaughter, processing and production of semi-finished products from turkey MEAT.

Development of genetics of meat sheep breeding in the Altai Republic

"Damate" and the government of the Altai Republic signed an agreement on the development of genetics of meat sheep breeding. The document provides for the promotion of modern methods of reproduction and embryo transfer. The work is aimed at improving the genetic characteristics of meat breeds of sheep. Research projects in the field of sheep genetics will be created and supported. New genetic technologies will be introduced to improve the productivity and quality of meat products. Work with sheep farms and the creation of joint programs with veterinary services are envisaged.

The cooperation documents were signed by the governors of Penza Oblast Oleg Melnichenko and Tyumen Oblast Alexander Moor, as well as the HEAD of the Altai Republic and chairman of the government of the Altai Republic Andrey Turchak, and the chairman of the board of directors of Damate Naum Babaev.

Earlier, sfera.fm reported that an agreement was signed at the SPIEF to build a plant for the production of alfalfa-based feed in the Astrakhan region.
