"Damate" will support the unique social project "Good Home"

Damate will supply products to the Moscow Charitable Foundation for Helping Children and Their Families Good Home during 2022. The first batch of turkey products with a volume of 300 kg has already been transferred to a social hotel for convalescent children.

The Damate group of companies, the largest turkey producer in RUSSIA, will support the Dobry Dom Moscow Charitable Foundation for Helping Children and Their Families. This is the first free social hotel in the country for recovering children with oncological diagnoses and their families who fly to the capital for treatment from all regions of Russia and neighboring countries and do not have the financial ability to rent housing. This is a significant social project that has no analogues in our country. 

Damate will provide food charitable assistance to the foundation on a monthly basis throughout 2022. This week, the company handed over the first batch of 300 kg products to the institution. These are processed MEAT products, meat by-products and products of deep processing: fillet, heart, liver, ham and turkey sausages. Shipment of the second batch is scheduled for July.

Cooperation between "Damate" and "Good House" will provide an opportunity to provide recovering children and their parents with high-quality and healthy meat products from turkey, which is suitable for the menu for the period of rehabilitation and recovery of children. At the moment, 180 people live in the free social hotel Dobry Dom, some of the wards came from regions where traditional Islamic values ​​are strong. The agricultural holding is convinced that participation in such socially oriented initiatives will draw the attention of society to the problems of rehabilitation of children with cancer and contribute to their solution. The company plans not only to help the fund with products, but also to provide information support and hold promotions to draw attention to the work of the institution. During the year, various educational and recreational activities will be held here with the participation of Damate volunteers. 

The first event was a culinary master class, which was attended by more than 60 people. Employees of the company, together with a professional chef, prepared a special menu and organized a master class on cooking turkey dishes for the children from Good Home and their parents. The participants made pizza, dumplings and sausages in dough with their own hands - something that almost all children love. During the event, the children not only learned how to cook new dishes, but also learned more about the Indylight brand, under which Damate produces turkey products, and that it is easy to cook delicious, varied dishes with it and maintain a healthy lifestyle .

Dobry Dom is a young, unique project. In December 2019, by order of the Mayor of Moscow, the foundation received two four-story buildings for the rehabilitation of children. Repairs in the buildings are funded by donations from caring citizens, and Russian business leaders help the project. There is no government funding for Good House. Thanks to Good Home, almost 3,000 children received help during the period of operation of the social hotel.
