Damate has installed several units of new modern equipment in the laboratories of the Penza region in order to improve product quality control. Investments in additional equipment amounted to 6 million rubles.

The Damate group of companies increases the control of the safety of raw materials, finished MEAT products and feed. The company has installed several units of new modern equipment in the laboratories of the Penza region. Investments in additional equipment of facilities amounted to 6 million rubles.

Damate laboratories have installed an express analyzer for the identification of pathogenic bacteria and spoilage microorganisms, analyzers for the qualitative and quantitative determination of mycotoxins. All equipment is manufactured by a world leader in food safety.

Analyzers allow you to quickly and with high accuracy detect bacteria of the genus Salmonella, the causative agent of listeriosis, Enterobacter sakazakii, yeast and mold fungi, bacteria of the Campylobacter species in the studied samples. This makes it possible to carry out end-to-end monitoring of microbiological indicators of hatching eggs, feed, raw materials, finished products, washouts from process equipment and from various surfaces.

“Using the new instruments, the company's specialists identify the sources of infection, track them at the level of strains, including pathogenic strains, and monitor the production process and the environment. Based on the data obtained, the veterinary, production quality services of Damate can make various production decisions more quickly,” said Daniil Gubanov, HEAD of the centralized laboratory of the Damate Group of Companies.

The new highly sensitive food express analyzer allows you to get the result within 24-36 hours, compared to 3-10 days by classical methods. While the traditional methods of screening microorganisms are based on bacterial growth on nutrient media, the new analyzer uses a genetic method. It reveals a unique DNA fragment, characteristic only for the desired microorganism, if it is present in the material or environment under study.

The express analyzer is an automated polymerase chain reaction (PCR) system with "real time" sample screening. The system allows you to simultaneously process up to 96 samples per load. The laboratory operator is not involved in the process, manual procedures are excluded, which ensures the reliability of the analysis results.

"Damate" is one of the few companies in the country where a complete feed diagnostics is carried out today, because feed safety when feeding poultry is a guarantee of the quality of the final product. In the chemical-technological laboratory of the feed mill, the company additionally installed devices for the analysis and safety control of mycotoxins in grain raw materials and feed. The new express analyzer allows total screening of incoming raw materials without delay, it analyzes six mycotoxins in one sample in just 4 minutes. In addition, the new equipment provides two-level monitoring of the feed production process, comprehensively controls the quality of feed and feed raw materials, and evaluates feed safety at all stages of production.

It should be noted that Damate controls the quality and safety of meat and dairy products produced at all stages of production. For this purpose, the company operates 14 laboratories of different research status in the regions of presence. In total, their capacity is designed to conduct more than 2.5 million studies per year. This volume is comparable to the scale of work of large federal testing centers. In 2021, more than 1.4 million studies were carried out in laboratories.
