Damate invested more than 235 million rubles in agricultural machinery in 1.5 years

The Damate group, which is implementing a turkey MEAT production project in the Penza region , continues to implement advanced solutions at all stages of production. Over the course of 1.5 years, Damate invested more than 235 million rubles in the acquisition of modern agricultural equipment for the crop production area of ​​the poultry complex.

Updating the equipment fleet will ensure high quality, compliance with deadlines and culture of field processing when carrying out agricultural work on an area of ​​more than 48 thousand hectares. The equipment has already been put into operation and entered the fields during the sowing and harvesting campaigns of 2022 and this year.

All new equipment and specialized units in the amount of 18 units are from leading Russian and foreign manufacturers. Damate's acquisitions include high-performance tractors, cultivators, row crop and grain seeders, tooth harrows, self-propelled sprayers and trucks.

As equipment arrives, repeated training of specialists and machine operators is organized. Technical specialists from companies - equipment dealers - have been invited as teachers. Employees of the Damate plant growing department were trained in the basics of operation, setup and adjustment of equipment, and were trained in differentiated application of fertilizers. In addition, Damate provided training on planning and quality control of field work, setting up and adjusting agricultural machines, maintenance and repair of equipment.

Currently, the company's fleet of agricultural machinery in the Penza region numbers over 290 units. Our own crop production area is one of the advantages of the vertically integrated structure of the Damate group of companies. Today the company has agricultural land and carries out work in nine areas of presence: Nizhnelomovsky, Kolyshleysky, Vadinsky, Mokshansky, Spassky, Pachelmsky, Narovchatsky, Penza and Shemysheysky. The presence of modern equipment, the use of advanced technologies and its own land fund allows Damate to provide poultry with feed of its own production.

The country's largest second-order turkey breeding facility was also launched here. Damate plans to build a selection and genetic sheep breeding center in the region.

In the Rostov region, Damate relaunched complexes for the production of turkey and industrial production of duck meat.

In the North Caucasus Federal District, Damate is developing lamb production. The project includes feedlots, a modern slaughter and lamb processing plant in Cherkessk (KChR) and a service company that provides consulting and resource support to the farms of the project’s partner farmers.
