The Damate Group of Companies and the Innopraktika Non-Governmental Development Institute signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of innovative technologies for the agro-industrial complex.
The agreement provides for cooperation in several key areas. Among them is the creation of infrastructure for the introduction of modern technologies in the Russian agro-industrial complex.
As part of the cooperation, Damate is expected to take part in the Innagro project initiated by Innopraktika in 2020. Innagro is a program for testing biological products for the agricultural sector: biological plant protection products, biological fertilizers, probiotic feed additives for animals and poultry . The goal of the Innagro project is the biologization of agriculture and the introduction of new technologies into production practice.
Innopraktika will engage experts from scientific and educational centers who will be able to take part in the research, while Damate will provide sites for testing and approbation. The parties also plan to form a system for the exchange of best practices and engage in the dissemination and implementation of scientific developments.
Another area of joint work will be the support of agricultural education and the customization of training programs. This will allow students to gain knowledge in the field of genetics, biotechnology, microbiology. In addition, the parties intend to organize internships and practices for students and teachers at their own sites and enterprises, as well as hold competitions for schoolchildren, students and teachers.
Joint activities in the field of genetics will be aimed at improving the genetic potential of farm animals, which will increase the efficiency of animal husbandry.
“Science-intensive technologies have firmly entered the daily life of agricultural enterprises. We already widely use artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, genomic analysis and a number of other innovative solutions in our practice. All of them are aimed at achieving high production efficiency and ensuring the safety and quality of the final product. We hope that cooperation with Innopraktika will allow us to significantly expand the range of technologies used and, which is very important, to introduce these developments into real production,” said Naum Babaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Damate group of companies.
Damate pays great attention to personnel training and innovation: the holding has established an R&D center for the study, analysis and systematization of knowledge in the field of genetics, agronomy, and food products. In our cooperation, we see great opportunities for the development and implementation of new approaches and technologies that will contribute to the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex," commented Vladimir Avdeenko, DIRECTOR of the Directorate for the Development of Agro- and Biotechnologies at Innopraktika.
Innopraktika is a non-state development institution that implements projects aimed at the growth of national human capital, including through the development of structures and mechanisms for an innovative economy.
