The modernization project investment totaled 250 million rubles. The new equipment allows for the production of a full range of dry-cured sausages in an extended format—from "Astoria" to the popular "Salchichon." The new loaves are 50% longer than standard ones.
According to Sergey Kuznetsov, DIRECTOR of the Cherkizovo-Kashira plant, the share of sliced products has increased from 10% to 45%, reflecting a general market trend: consumers increasingly prefer ready-portioned packages. The first batches of meter-long sausages are already being shipped to the ChMPZ plant in Moscow for further processing and distribution to retailers.
