Cherkizovo may become the fourth supplier of pork from Russia to China

In case of a positive conclusion from inspectors from China , Cherkizovo will be included in the register of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) and will become the fourth Russian supplier of pig products. Currently, the holding's poultry enterprises export by-products and parts of chicken and turkey carcasses  to China in the proportion of 85% and 15%, respectively.

According to Anastasia Mikhailova, Director of Communications of PJSC Cherkizovo Group, this direction is considered as key among non-CIS countries: China accounts for 30% of total exports. Consignments of goods are regularly shipped to Kazakhstan , Vietnam , Belarus , Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia.

We would like to remind you that in February, three domestic pork producers CJSC SK Korocha (APH Miratorg), Tambov Bacon LLC (RUSAGRO) and OJSC Velikoluksky Meat Processing Plant received access to the Chinese market.
