Chelyabinsk poultry farm to start exporting cat and dog food

A product that is relatively new for a well-known South Ural enterprise was quickly brought to the all-Russian market; now animal lovers from the Customs Union countries will be able to appreciate feed from Chelyabinsk.

The Chelyabinsk poultry farm division for the production of animal feed (OOO Zookorm Factory, Kopeysk) received permission to EXPORT products to the Customs Union countries. As reported by the South Ural Office of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR , the enterprise was inspected by inspectors for compliance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the EAEU and was found to meet all established criteria.

In May 2023, the enterprise underwent reconstruction, during which certified equipment for feed production was installed, supply and exhaust ventilation was installed, a rack system was installed in the warehouse, and the administrative and household complex and sanitary facilities were renovated, - representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor noted following the inspection.

The company plans to supply abroad from the Chelyabinsk region the entire range of products for pet nutrition: complete dry food for adult dogs of small, medium and large breeds, dry cat food, as well as special food for sterilized cats.

Let us recall that the HEAD of JSC Chelyabinskaya Poultry Farm Evgeny Narukov decided to launch the production of pet food in 2022 against the background of the partial withdrawal of large foreign manufacturers from the market. The recipe for dry food from chicken-based raw materials was developed taking into account the recommendations of veterinarians. Now the company sells food throughout RUSSIA through online pet stores and large marketplaces such as OZON.
