Eggs , meanwhile, are now 98.81 rubles per dozen, down from 104.19 rubles in early June. Potatoes fell to 101.62 rubles per kilogram (from 112.25 rubles).

However, not all items improved: bananas fell to 153.43 rubles, while apples increased to 221.54 rubles. Cucumbers increased in price from 143.16 to 145.75 rubles, while tomatoes remained virtually unchanged at 236.74 rubles.

In light of these changes, Rospotrebnadzor reports the discovery of more than 5 tons of unsafe products on store shelves in the district.
