At the same time, other types of MEAT also became more expensive, although not as significantly: the price of boneless pork increased by 23% (from 377 to 466 rubles), pork with bone - by 39% (from 274 to 380 rubles), and the cost of chicken increased by 69% (from 137 to 232 rubles per kilogram).
At the city's Central Market, beef on the bone costs from 550 rubles, while boneless meat can be found in the range of 600 to 960 rubles per kilogram. In large retail chains, starting prices for beef fillet start from 900 rubles, and steaks can reach 1,300 rubles per kilogram. Experts say the main reasons for the price increase are increased production costs, logistics costs, and inflation.
