The Russian Federation increased its purchases of cattle meat from Brazil by 1.5 times last month, reaching $32.1 million.  Pork imports increased by 2.1 times, reaching $888,700.

Poultry by-product shipments grew particularly strongly, increasing eightfold to $20.2 million. Other meat by-product shipments increased 2.3-fold to $6.3 million. Brazil's total meat exports in July reached $2.25 billion, an increase of 19%.

This is the highest export level since September 2022. China remains the main buyer of Brazilian meat . In July, China increased purchases by a third, reaching $723.3 million.

The UAE ranks second. Last month, it purchased $135.8 million worth of meat from Brazil, a 7% increase. Japan
ranks third with $128.1 million in imports, also a 40% increase.
