Safe Yorkshire and Landrace pigs arrived from Ireland to the Kursk region

192 purebred pigs moved for permanent residence to the Kurchatovsky district of the Kursk region.  

Miratorg-Kursk LLC, with permission from ROSSELKHOZNADZOR , imported a batch of imported pig stock from Ireland. Of these, breeding boars – 4 heads, gilts – 188 heads. Breed: Yorkshire and Landrace. 

The unloading of imported pig stock was carried out under the supervision of employees of the department of border veterinary control at the State Border of the Russian Federation and transport of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Oryol and Kursk regions and the veterinary service of the Kursk region.

A clinical examination of all arriving animals revealed no signs of infectious diseases. 

The imported pig population was placed under quarantine , which included a full range of measures in accordance with the Unified Veterinary (Veterinary and Sanitary) Requirements for Goods Subject to Veterinary Control (Supervision), approved by the CCC Decision No. 317 dated June 18, 2010.
