Azerbaijan conducts on-site inspection of Russian livestock producers

In 2023, this is the fourth full-time visit by Azerbaijani specialists to domestic companies. In just six months, including in video format, 30 enterprises were checked, 5 of them were approved for deliveries.

In addition, in the near future, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR will send reports to foreign colleagues on the elimination by Russian producers of inconsistencies with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of Azerbaijani legislation, which were previously identified as a result of inspections. After that, the Agency will consider the issue of entering the inspected enterprises interested in the supply of livestock products to the territory of the republic in the national register of Azerbaijan.

The service reminds that the transitional period during which uninspected Russian enterprises can supply their products to Azerbaijan will end on September 1, 2023.

The service also reminds that Russian enterprises need to conclude an agreement in a timely manner and pay for the services of the Institute of Food Safety of the Republic of Azerbaijan for inspection.
