On April 14, Deputy Prime Minister of the region Artem Nikitin held a meeting on the construction of an Agrotechnopark in the Ryazan region, the press service of the regional government writes.

He said that active cooperation has been established with investors, a number of meetings have been held. The proposed project opens up new opportunities for integrating artificial intelligence into agriculture, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the agro-industrial complex. “Indeed, the project is interesting and very necessary in our time. When we talk about quality, we are accustomed to adding the prefix "euro": European-quality repair, euro-wallpaper. But in Russia for a long time there is no need to focus on someone else's standards, - said Artem Nikitin. – I really hope that our new project will just be able to show that Russian quality, I hope Ryazan quality, will be more of a marker of quality than the euro. I am sure that the project will develop dynamically. From our side: the economic and agrarian blocs are ready to provide all kinds of support.”

During the meeting with the investor, the Agrotechnopark company, they discussed the stages of creating a closed cycle mega-complex with robotization of production processes. It will include more than 25 industrial and agricultural enterprises, over 35 thousand hectares will be involved, including in the territories of the Ryazansky industrial park and the AgroTerra agro-industrial park.

It is planned to launch dairy, meat, goat and sheep breeding complexes with a total livestock of about 45 thousand heads. A poultry complex is also being designed as part of the project. Accompanying facilities will be automatic plants for the production of meat products, dairy products, bioproducts with a long shelf life, as well as a selection and breeding center with a breeding core, an elevator, an agrochemical center, a reclamation mobile mechanized column and other infrastructure elements.

Governor Nikolai Lyubimov in his comment stressed that the creation of a new generation mega-complex will help expand the import substitution program in the agro-industrial sector and strengthen food security. “The implementation of the project is important for the Ryazan region, because we are all focused on ensuring that the agro-industrial complex does not depend on foreign suppliers. The potential of the agricultural sector of the region is high. The introduction of modern intellectual technologies, the transformation of advanced scientific knowledge into practice will achieve high results,” said the governor of the region.
