Argun Meat Processing Plant Confirmed Halal of Its Products

The executive DIRECTOR of the Argun MEAT Processing Plant, Abu Salataev, said that the company's products comply with all the norms of Islam and the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor.

“The Halal certificate in the Chechen Republic is issued after passing through quite a few checks. These are both documentary checks and factual ones. The latter are carried out by a representative of the Halal Standard Committee of the Chechen Republic to check raw materials (spices, casings, etc.) in the warehouses of the Enterprise, Abu Salataev said.

According to him, the products of the Argun Meat Processing Plant have a certificate confirming their compliance with religious requirements.

“We have a certificate issued by the Halal Standard Committee of the Chechen Republic. it is issued for 1 year only. Accordingly, we pass this test annually.”

A. Salataev also noted that for their own slaughtering, the employees of the enterprise undergo appropriate training at the Halal Standard Committee of the Chechen Republic.

“After that, they are issued a certificate for a period of 3 years. Then the certificate needs to be renewed,” he concluded.

It is noted that earlier pork DNA was found in 21 brands of sausages imported to the Chechen Republic under the guise of halal products.
