The Argentine Institute for the Promotion of Beef (IPCVA) is leading a delegation of 26 exporting MEAT processors to negotiate new deals, explore the Chinese market and strengthen the position of domestic products in an increasingly competitive environment.
In recent years, CHINA has established itself as the main destination for Argentine beef exports, accounting for more than 70% of shipments. However, the market faces challenges in 2025, with demand recovering slowly, prices fluctuating, and competitors such as Brazil , Uruguay, and Australia expanding their presence through aggressive trade policies.
Add to this the impact of the tariff war between China and the US , which is reshaping the global supply map. While Argentina appears to be a reliable alternative, it will have to compete in an environment of less predictability and greater HEALTH and trade demands.
