JSC IC RSHB-Strakhovanie paid 37.3 million rubles as a result of an outbreak of brucellosis

JSC IC RSHB-Strakhovanie paid 37.3 million rubles as a result of an outbreak of brucellosis on the territory of a livestock enterprise in the Stavropol region.

A feature of the disease is the transmission of infection from animals to humans, which affects various organs.

Farm animals were insured under an insurance contract provided with state support.

During testing, animal blood samples revealedbrucellosis . After the disease was discovered, a quarantine was imposed on the farm . During research, the disease was confirmed in other animals. In order to prevent the spread of infection, the company decided to send for slaughter all infected animals recognized under the insurance contract - more than 470 heads of cattle .

Based on the results of reviewing the documents provided by the insured, JSC IC RSHB-Strakhovanie recognized the case as insured and paid compensation in accordance with the terms of the contract.
