JSC "Rosagroleasing" will support a project to build a large full-cycle meat processing plant in Dagestan.

Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov On April 8, as part of a working trip to Moscow, he met with the General DIRECTOR of Rosagroleasing JSC Pavel Kosov.

The parties discussed the implementation of projects for the construction of enterprises for the processing of agricultural products, as well as the acquisition of equipment on lease.

The working trip was organized on behalf of the HEAD of the RD Sergey Melikov. Recall that in September 2021, during a meeting between the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, and Pavel Kosov, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Republic of Dagestan and Rosagroleasing JSC.

The participants of the meeting considered a project for the construction of a full-cycle MEAT processing enterprise (working title - "Dagmyaso") in the territory of the Kizilyurt district of the republic.

Pavel Kosov expressed his full support for the implementation of the project. During the meeting, a working group was formed and an action plan was agreed upon.

As Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov explained, the connection points for power lines have already been determined, as well as the required capacities for water supply of the projected enterprise. In general, the project of the meat processing plant involves a complex of independent production facilities, workshops for slaughtering and processing meat, for the production of canned meat, sausage and intestinal workshops, workshops for meat and bone meal, workshops for processing skins and others will be located on the territory.

Preliminarily, the design capacity of the enterprise will be up to 700 heads of small ruminants and 50 heads of cattle per shift. Upon reaching the planned capacity, the meat processing plant plans to produce chilled and frozen semi-finished meat, cattle and small cattle meat, canned meat, sausages, meat processing products, meat and bone meal, skin processing products, and so on. Sales of manufactured products are planned to be carried out not only within the republic, but also in other regions of the Russian Federation.

Rosagroleasing JSC, Dagagroleasing JSC, Dagestan Development Corporation, representatives of republican ministries and departments will also take part in the project implementation.

The financial and technological model of the project is currently being finalized. The second issue on the agenda was the provision of agricultural machinery to agricultural producers of the republic. The process of acquiring equipment on lease will be organized through JSC "Dagagroleasing". Quantity, types of equipment are determined. Tomorrow, April 9, a working group is scheduled to visit an enterprise that produces equipment for meat processing, located in the Moscow region. Members of the working group will study and determine what equipment, what capacities will be purchased for the needs of the region.
