African swine fever continues to be detected in the settlements of the Komsomolsk region. A dangerous disease was confirmed in a personal subsidiary farm near the village of Pivan, as well as in the territories of the villages of Verkhnyaya Ekon and Novy Mir of the Komsomolsk region and the villages of Voznesenskoye and Achan of the Amur region. Quarantine has been introduced in settlements, traffic police officers are on duty at the exits, vehicles are inspected.

African swine fever is a viral disease of pigs characterized by rapid spread and 100% mortality. A vaccine against African swine fever has not been developed; when cases of the disease are detected, not only the infected livestock are destroyed, but in general all animals within a radius of tens of kilometers from the source of infection.
