ACCOR seeks equalization of electricity tariffs for industrial and agricultural enterprises in Russia

So far, proposals have not been developed to identify existing mechanisms to reduce the cost of electricity and set a fair price for farmers,” the press release says.

“At the committee it was proposed to include small ones in a separate list of categories,” said Vladimir Plotnikov, HEAD of AKKOR, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, according to the organization. - Tariffs should be reduced primarily for small farms - peasant farms and cooperatives, as it is written in the instructions of the President. Then go to all other agricultural producers. This decision was worked out together with the deputies of the agrarian committee. It will be sent to the Government of the Russian Federation.
